Buy the Pio Pants sewing pattern from Ready to Sew. The Pio Pants are relaxed and easy to wear elasticated waist pants with a slightly carrot shaped silhouette. They are designed to sit high on your natural waist above your belly button. There is a dart in the back waist for extra shaping and two deep front pockets. The finished length is just at the ankle bone but they look great rolled up too.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight fabric (180-240 g/m2) such as cotton poplin, batik, linen, ramie or hemp canvas, light denim or light corduroy.

Fabric requirements:

Range 1 (sizes 32-46): 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 32-36, 150 cm // Sizes 37-40, 170 cm // Sizes 41-46, 185 cm.

Range 2 (sizes 46-58): 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 46-52, 205 cm // Sizes 53-58, 240 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 46 and EU 46 – 58 (approx. UK 6/8 – 14/16 and UK 18 – 30, based on our ). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. Range 1 (32-46) is based on a height of 167 cm and a B cup. Range 2 (46-58) is based on a height of 168 cm and a D cup.

Notions: 3 or 4 cm wide knit elastic long enough for your waist.
