This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you'll need to download the digital instructions, as we don't print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is ?

Suggested fabrics: You can make the Kai Blazer in a synthetic fabric, such as polyester or polyviscose. The good thing about these is that they don’t wrinkle. However, a disadvantage is that they don’t ‘breathe’, which means they don’t allow sweat through like natural fabrics (such as cottons, linens, or wool fabrics like tweed, flannel and delicate virgin wool). Use a solid fabric in a pastel or more vibrant colour or go for a print fabric. If you’d like to make a classic blazer, be sure to go for a nice Glen check.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Main, 190 - 260 cm // Lining, 135 - 170 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our ). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 175 cm; shoulder pads; 1 button or snap, 2.5 cm diameter.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (68 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (4 sheets).

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
